Revelation 19

1. After this I heard what sounded like a great many people in heaven. They were saying: “Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God.

Those of us who know the Lord Jesus will be standing there with these people. It will be hard to believe but it will be true that this is happening after all these years of waiting.

2. His judgments are true and right. Our God has punished the prostitute. She is the one who made the earth evil with her sexual immorality. God has punished the prostitute to pay her back for the death of his servants.”

The devil has always accused God of not being fair (Genesis 3:5). We know that the world’s judges and courts can do evil, but we also see that God has given man every chance to change his mind and pushed it away.

3 – 6

Again they said: “Hallelujah! She is burning, and her smoke will rise forever and ever.” Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures bowed down. They worshiped God, who sits on the throne. They said: “Amen, Hallelujah!”
Then a voice came from the throne: “Praise our God, all you who serve Him! Praise our God, all you who honor Him, both small and great!”

Then I heard what sounded like a great many people. It sounded like the noise of flooding water and like loud thunder. The people were saying: “Hallelujah! Our Lord God rules. He is the All Powerful.

Him The world has been crying about Rome being destroyed but we praise God for the end of all the evil in the earth. For years the world has been saying, “Why does not God do something about all these things?”

We see the evil of the sex trafficking of children and other people chained in all kinds of slavery. We see the killing of babies (even after they are born) and the selling of their body parts. All of this is now stopped forever, we can only shout with a joy that the world does not want to understand.

7 – 8

Let us rejoice and be happy and give God glory! Give God glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come. And the Lamb’s bride has made herself ready.

Fine cloth was given to the bride for her to wear. The cloth was bright and clean. (The fine cloth shows us the good things done by God’s holy people.)

We are now making our own clothing, which we will wear in heaven. It will be made out of the good things that we have done for Jesus and not for ourselves. This is how we get ready.

9. Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Those who are invited to the wedding meal of the Lamb are happy!” Then the angel said, “These are the true words of God.”

Jesus told a story about people who were invited to a wedding and were not interested so the Lord invited even bad people to the wedding. Matthew 22:8–13

10. Then I bowed down at the angel’s feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not worship me! I am a servant like you and your brothers who have the truth of Jesus. Worship God! Because the truth about Jesus is the Spirit that gives all prophecy.”

All prophecy is about Jesus. You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to Me! John 5:39

11. Then I saw heaven open. There before me was a white horse. The rider on the horse is called Faithful and True. He is right when He judges and makes war.

Those who say that the second coming of Jesus has already happened will have to show us when has the world looked up and seen heaven opened?

12. His eyes are like burning fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him, but He is the only one who knows the name. No other person knows the name.

We have to agree that we can not understand all the things of God and there is a name of God which we cannot understand.

13. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God.

Isaiah said that this would happen. Isaiah 63:1–4

14. The armies of heaven were following Him on white horses. They were dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

This is us! Colossians 3:4

15. A sharp sword comes out of the rider’s mouth. He will use this sword to defeat the nations. He will [shepherd] them with a scepter of iron. He will crush out the wine in the winepress of the terrible anger of God All-Powerful.

Knowing that the Lord has this rod makes us feel safe. Psalm 23:4

They will not obey God’s word so they will be destroyed by His word. The one who hates the Word will be destroyed by it. Proverbs 13:13

16 – 18

On His robe and on His leg was written this name: “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun. The angel called with a loud voice to all the birds flying in the sky, “Come together for the great feast of God.

Come together so that you can eat the bodies of kings and generals and famous men. Come to eat the bodies of the horses and their riders and the bodies of all people—free, slave, small, and great.”

The armies of the earth who had been fighting each other. Now come together because they agree that they do not want Jesus to rule the earth.

19. Then I saw the [antichrist] and the kings of the earth. Their armies were gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and His army.

The devil knows that he cannot win what he wants to make one last fight just to show how much he hates God. The devil has tried every trick possible. Men will know once and for all that there is nothing that can stand against God. This is proof that people go to hell of their own choice!

20. But the [antichrist] was captured and with him the false prophet. This false prophet was the one who did the miracles for the [antichrist]. The false prophet had used these miracles to trick those who had the mark of the [antichrist] and worshiped his idol. The false prophet and the [antichrist] were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

The mark of 666 on their foreheads marks them for destruction.

21. Their armies were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse. All the birds ate the bodies until they were full.

The people had said, “Who can possibly fight against the antichrist?” Now they have their answer. Revelation 13:4
