Psalm 39

Lord, I had a bad situation today.

I said, “I will be careful how I act.
I will not sin by what I say.”

So I kept very quiet.

I did not even say anything good.

But I became even more angry.

The more I thought about it,
the more angry I became.

So I said some things that
I should not have said.

Save me from this kind of sin.

I will be quiet now. You are the One who has allowed this to show me the kind of things that are inside of me.

When you correct a man the
beauty of his life is gone.

Please forgive me and rebuild me!
