| Hebrews 1
 1. In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets. He spoke to them many times and in many different ways.

God shows us how the Bible speaks to us in a personal way and at just the right time!

 2. And now in these last days God has spoken to us through His Son. God has chosen His Son to own all things. And He made the world through the Son.

People say why does God not show us Himself? Why does He not show us what to do? He has through the Lord Jesus!

 3. The Son reflects the glory of God. He is the exact image of God’s nature. He holds everything together with His powerful Word. The Son made people clean from their sins. Then He sat down at the right side of God, the Great One in heaven.

Jesus said when you see Him you have seen what the Father is like (John 14:9). As a priest sits when his work is done, Jesus is sitting. Scientists are searching for what holds the world together, the answer is Jesus! Colossians 1:17.

 4 – 5

The Son became much greater than the angels. And God gave Him a name that is much greater than theirs. This is because God never said to any of the angels, “You are My Son. Today I have become your Father.” Nor did God say of any angel, “I will be his Father, and He will be My Son.”

False teachers say that Jesus was an angel. The Bible says that Jesus is the person of God that we know as the Son. Psalm 2:7, 2 Samuel 7:14

 6. And when God brings His firstborn Son into the world, He says, “Let all God’s angels worship Him.”

God would not tell the angels to worship another angel. Psalm 97:7

 7 – 8

This is what God said about the angels: “God makes His angels become like winds. He makes His servants become like flames of fire.”

But God said this about His Son: “God, your throne will last forever and ever. You will rule Your kingdom with fairness.

The Father calls Jesus “God.” He would not call an angel God. Satan was thrown out of heaven for saying he would be as God. This should answer every false teacher who says that Jesus was an angel. Isaiah 14:13, Psalm 104:4

 9. You love what is right and hate evil. So God has chosen you to rule those with You. Your God has given you much joy.”

Jesus looked ahead to the joy that we would share with Him forever.

Because of the joy waiting for Him, He suffered the cross, not caring about its shame. Hebrews 12:2, Psalm 45:6-7

 10 – 11

God also says, “Lord, in the beginning You made the earth. And Your hands made the skies. They will be destroyed, but You will remain. They will all wear out like clothes.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared.  Revelation 21:1

 12. You will fold them like a coat. And, like clothes, You will change them. But You never change. And Your life will never end.”

The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.  Revelation 6:14, Psalm 102:25-27

 13 – 14

And God never said this to an angel: “Sit by me at My right side until I put your enemies under your control.”

All the angels are spirits who serve God and are sent to help those who will receive salvation.

Again, God never told an angel to sit at His right hand. Angels were created to honor God and to help Christians but Jesus is the One who gave His life to save us. Psalm 110:1

Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

Then [the angel] said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” Revelation 22:8-9
